The childcare in the community of Finsing is enriched by a further component.

The local council decided unanimously to create a nature group on the Saurüssel in Neufinsing.

Finsing

- play, learn and grow up outdoors in nature: More and more sponsors and communities are relying on forest and nature education.

Two years ago a forest group was created in Ottenhofen, a good year ago a nature group started operations in Buch am Buchrain, and in Moosinning they want to start a nature kindergarten, but recently they were looking for a location.

In Finsing you are one step further in this regard.

Mayor Max Kressirer (WGE) reported at the meeting that they had initially thought about a real forest kindergarten in the Bannwald, but this was not feasible - “that was not conveyable to the property owners in this form”.

The Saurüssel, on the other hand, like the adjacent cemetery, belongs to the community.

As the mayor further explained, the nature group is temporally related to the expansion of the children's area Zur Sonnwend in Neufinsing.

As is known, the facility is currently being enlarged with a new building.

Completion is planned for mid-2022, and the boys and girls should move in by the new kindergarten year at the latest.

The old building will then be energetically renovated.

At this time, the nature group should also be in operation to cope with spatial bottlenecks.

Once the Kinderland Zur Sonnwend has been completely renovated, the nature group can be continued as a separate group, or the individual groups can go out to nature days.

"So this is an investment not just for this year, but for the future," said Kressirer.

He emphasized that it is not a forest kindergarten as an independent facility, but a nature group that is attached to the regular kindergarten and can move flexibly in nature.

There is no outdoor area with play equipment such as a slide, swings or sandpit, but there is a construction trailer.

However, it only serves as a shelter in bad weather, otherwise the children - ten to 15 are expected in the group - are out and about around the Saurüssel.

Kressirer said that the next budget would have to pay between 70,000 and 100,000 euros for the trailer.

However, this is still the cheapest option for an interim solution during new construction and renovation.

Ludwig Lex (FWF) explained that he thinks it is "absolutely good that we have the opportunity to do something like this".

And Gertrud Eichinger (SPD) said: “I'm happy that this can become a reality.” As reported, it was Eichinger and her council colleague Andrea Struck who submitted a joint motion on behalf of the SPD and the Green Voters' Forum in the previous election period had asked to check whether an existing day-care center could be supplemented by an outside group with a focus on nature and forest education.

Eichinger now pointed out that the Saurüssel is very popular with walkers and walkers.

The porter is aware that the area is a recreational area for the Finsinger, explained Kressirer.

Likewise, the proximity to the cemetery, but where there is no danger of disruptions, for example at funerals.

According to Kressirer, the Lower Nature Conservation Authority in the District Office could well imagine the location on the Saurüssel.

Now you need a building permit for the construction trailer.

The municipality wants to promote this with the specialist authorities.

Meanwhile, planner Markus Heilmaier prepares the building application so that it can be submitted promptly.

The local council gave the go-ahead for this.
