The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court today (Wednesday) discussed the extension of the detention of the seven suspects in the abduction and murder case of Nissim Sheetrit from 35 years ago - including Eliezer Berland.
During the hearing, a police spokesman said the leader of the Shuvu Banim community was the sender according to the new killers in the affair.
During the hearing, the judge referred to the findings of the investigation regarding the moment of the murder and said: "Three suspects come out: one of them stabs, one supervises and another is the one who drove them."
While the hearing continued, the detention of the man who served as the driver in the murder was extended until Sunday.
This is a resident of Jerusalem in his 60s.
Another suspect, a 72-year-old suspect in the murder plot, was released on restrictive conditions.
Police have appealed to the district court against the decision.
In the case of Berland himself, who is suspected of involvement in both the abduction and the murder, the police are seeking to extend his detention by six days.
