District - Yesterday, Tuesday, there was a robbery of a supermarket on the main square in Gauting in the early evening.
Around 7.15 p.m., a 22-year-old man walked into the supermarket and pushed the cashier aside by force in order to be able to reach into the cash register.
The 42-year-old injured her hand after falling on the ground and suffered a shock.
The man then fled the market on foot with loot in the low four-digit range.
Several witnesses had observed the crime, followed the suspect and finally held him until the police patrol arrived.
Thanks to the courageous intervention of those involved, the man was temporarily arrested and taken to the Gauting police station.
The Fürstenfeldbruck criminal police took over the investigation.
