The Director of the Local Production and Exports Support and Development Authority, Thaer Fayyad, confirmed that Syria's participation in the Fourth China International Import Exhibition, which concluded today, provided an opportunity to display the products of Syrian companies, promote their brands, conclude deals and explore opportunities to develop and increase international trade cooperation.
In a statement to SANA’s delegate today, Fayyad indicated that the virtual exhibition, which was organized in parallel with the commercial one, also represented an excellent opportunity for the participants to move to e-marketing and learn about its technologies through exhibitions and electronic promotional platforms and a window to move towards e-commerce and start preparing the infrastructure that enables Syrian companies to secure Its requirements electronically, promotion, marketing, electronic payment and others, which saves time, effort and cost.
Fayyad saw that Syria's participation in the exhibition is a reflection of its distinguished relationship with China at the trade level and the two countries' desire to increase the volume of trade and investment exchange, adding that it represents a distinguished opportunity for trade exchange and investment in information technology and the digital world to overcome the difficulties imposed by the Corona pandemic on the world.
The participation of the Syrian pavilions in the exhibition, according to Fayyad, included promotional photos and videos for a selection of companies, such as Syrian olive oil production and export companies, leading companies in the food, confectionery, coffee and laurel soap industries, as well as an introductory video of the most important Syrian cultural and tourist attractions and investment opportunities currently available in Syria.
Today, the activities of the fourth session of the China International Import Expo, which started on November 4, concluded with the participation of about 3,000 companies from 127 countries within a total area of 366,000 square meters.
