The alleged driver of a car wrecked in the Tarn, aboard which was a girl who lost her life, was indicted Wednesday, November 10, in particular for "
aggravated manslaughter
", and placed in pre-trial detention, a learned AFP from the prosecution.

The charge of manslaughter is compounded by the lack of a license and speeding, it was said.
The 29-year-old man is also indicted for "
unintentional injuries
" and "
failure to assist a person in danger
".
Arrested Tuesday in Aveyron, he had been taken into custody in the Tarn, before being presented to an examining magistrate.

On Monday, the car swerved shortly after a bend and ended up in a field in Navès, south of Castres.
A seven-year-old girl was killed while the three other passengers in the car - the driver's wife and their two children - were slightly injured, according to the prosecution.
The driver, who belongs to the Traveler community, had fled.
