According to past experience, with the assistance of social workers, they can alleviate their feelings of embarrassment.

He pointed out that it is difficult for social housing projects to guarantee public housing after two years of residence, only "how much resources are available".

Preparations for "Nanchang 220" began in 2017. At that time, there was no transitional housing policy and precedent in Hong Kong. In addition, the waiting time for public housing at that time was about 4.7 years. Public housing should be available after the tenancy period of 1 year.

He pointed out that in response to the increase in the waiting time for public housing, the lease period has also been adjusted in other transitional housing projects. However, the "Nanchang 220" site has been borrowed for nearly five years and needs to be returned as promised. It is difficult to extend the lease period.
