For almost two weeks now, many contradictory signals have been reaching us from the negotiations of the COP26, in Glasgow, the big meeting on the climate which is due to end this weekend.
Certain announcements are encouraging, such as the cooperation agreement that nobody expected between China and the United States, the two largest emitters of greenhouse gases on the planet, or the multiplication of promises of phasing out of fossil fuels.
Conversely, specialists warn that the commitments made by States are not sufficient to limit warming to + 1.5 ° C by the end of the century, an objective decided in 2015 in Paris.
