After long months in South Africa, Princess Charlène is finally back in Monaco.

Now an unexpected photo appeared from the palace.

Update from November 8th:

As can also be seen in the pictures, Charlène did not return to Monaco alone.

She also has the new family member Khan with her.

This is a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy from South Africa.

Only recently did the princess have to cope with the death of her beloved four-legged friend Monte.

First report from November 8th:

Monaco - she's back at last!

Princess Charlène von Monaco (43) made it back to Monaco after many months.

She was stuck in South Africa for a long time because of a severe ear infection and several operations, and was not allowed to fly.

Now she was finally allowed to travel home.

The palace promptly released photos of the family reunification.

“A reunion full of joy and emotion”, it was also said on Facebook.

Arm in arm: Charlène has returned to the family

Arm in arm with husband Prince Albert and her twins Gabriella and Jacques, the princess was photographed.

In a black robe, with a short blonde haircut and with a face mask, she was quite covered.

"It was a challenging time here, but at the same time it was wonderful to be back in South Africa," she said on the tarmac at Durban's King Shaka International Airport.

Shortly before Charlene's return, Prince Albert was still very angry about his former lover, who had railed against the Princess in an interview.

Actually, Charlène had traveled to South Africa to campaign against rhino hunting.

Orthodontic surgery then delayed her return journey, so she had to stay.

She spent months in the coastal province of KwaZulu-Natal, with which she has had a close relationship since childhood.

The spatial separation of her family fueled the rumor mill, and it was speculated again and again that she had separated from her husband.

With the joint photos, the couple seems to want to dispel these rumors.

Albert had already stated in advance how much he missed his wife.

She had met Prince Albert II (63) in 2000 at a swimming competition after she had previously competed for South Africa's national team at the 2000 Olympic Games.
