District councilors visit young researchers, inventors and inventors in the Mint Campus

The activities of the Mint Campus were recently presented to the district committee.

The district councilors took this as an opportunity and stopped by the project manager Eva Rehm and her team.

Eva Rehm would like to make her offer even more user-oriented and also want to expand it more widely. From the point of view of the district councilors, this makes sense, because the way from Hilgertshausen-Tandern or Pfaffenhofen to Dachau is not so easy for all pupils to master. “We know about the shortage of skilled workers in the MINT area. This is exactly where the MINT campus starts at an early stage with the youngest - and with boys and girls alike. We have to expand this further as an educational region. ”Technicians, retired people with organizational skills and students are also desperately wanted as volunteer supervisors or trainers. “Our MINT campus is a lighthouse project, we all have to contribute to it being able to grow further,” concluded the district councilors.

MINT is an abbreviation and is made up of the first letters of the fields of study mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology.
