Subaru unveils the Subaru Soltra, the first electric recreational vehicle in serial production for it.
This is actually a car developed in collaboration with Toyota and the resemblance to a tram that Toyota introduced a week ago provides.

The Solta (a combination of the words sun and earth in Latin) is similar to the Toyota bZ4X we previously unveiled.
The differences from the outside are negligible with a slightly different design for the front, rear and other minor changes.
Also in the cabin, it seems that the two are almost completely identical with a very modern look and a large multimedia screen dominating the center console.
Subaru Soltra also uses the dedicated electric platform (e-TNGA) they developed together.
When it comes to these dimensions of the Sultra are identical to those of the Toyota tram, which means a size parallel to that of the Forrester for example.
Here too, two propulsion versions, with the option of a single front-engine electric that produces 201 hp and sends them to the front wheels.
The second adds an electric motor also in the rear together these provide 215 hp and create dual propulsion.
The battery here, with an output of 71.4 kWh, will suffice for 530 km for the front-wheel drive version and for 460 km in the dual-drive version.
The full and official unveiling of the Subaru Electric Soltra is expected to take place at the Los Angeles show next week.
Sales around the globe are expected to start towards the middle of next year and will probably reach us shortly thereafter as well.
