Giant: Yaki Dabush World Champion in Jiu Jitsu Israel today

The Israeli team finished an amazing week with amazing achievements and medals at the World Championships in Abu Dhabi


Vicky Dabush is the new world champion weighing 69 kg, after defeating his rival from the world ranked Russia in the final.

The battle was also on the ticket to the “World Games” 2022. Along the way Vicky defeated rivals from Russia, USA, Abu Dhabi and Belgium.

Shaked Nissimain (weighing 70) defeated a rival from Germany and 3 more fights on the way to second place and the silver medal.

Avi Ibergimov lost in the final to an opponent from Russia and won second place and a silver medal.

Nimrod Ryder, ranked first in the world, defeated his rivals from Thailand, Russia and Abu Dhabi and lost in the final to his rival from Bahrain and won a silver medal and a ticket to the "World Games".

Meshi Rosenfeld (weight 57 kg), won the bronze medal after winning a rival from Russia. Roni Nissimain (weighing 62 kg) also brought a lot of respect and won the bronze medal.

Rosenfeld and Nissimain also qualified for the "World Games".

The world championship was especially big with 1400 competitors in 9 days of competition.

These results join the incredible achievements of the youth team and above all the amazing achievement of 17-year-old world champion Amit Burstein, who picked up the title after defeating the Kazakh world champion in the final.
