Nominate Chen Zizhong to elect five medical and health professionals for one seat

As for Chen Zizhong, today he was nominated by the current Chairman of the Hospital Authority Fan Hongling and former Chairman Hu Dingxu to enter the medical and health sector.

Chen Zizhong said that he visited different corners and contacted different medical professionals and explained his ideas. "I hope to be touched by them (the voters)." He also pointed out that he has worked in the public medical system for the past 38 years. Promote governance and improve the working environment of medical care, thereby benefiting the public.

As for whether he agrees that medical care must swear to uphold the Basic Law and allegiance to the SAR, Chen Zizhong bluntly said, "I must take an oath when filling out the form (to stand for election)." He also pointed out that medical care should be professional. Later, he thought that medical care should swear an oath, "it is necessary to follow the law." He also said that the oath is only a personal matter, and there is no urgency. On the contrary, medical system problems are a matter for Hong Kong as a whole.

Hu Dingxu pointed out that Chen Zizhong had served in Tuen Mun Hospital for decades, and he also had a special affection for Tuen Mun Hospital. Many doctors and nurses are reluctant to work in Tuen Mun Hospital. They describe the people working in Tuen Mun Hospital as "the kind of love that is unsatisfactory."

Hu Dingxu also praised Chen Zizhong for his ability: "There are a lot of nominations from other establishments, and many non-organizations send their support. Everyone can compete virtuously and discuss rationally to bring up many problems."

The medical and health industry has now become a five-member melee. Candidates include pharmacist Pang Ailan and surgeon Lin Zhexuan, who are also supported by the former director of the Food and Health Bureau Gao Yongwen, the DAB Chinese physician Chen Yongguang, and the Central Committee of the Nurses Association He Chonghan.

In addition to Pan Zhuohong, candidates for Hong Kong Island East include Wu Qiubei of the Federation of Trade Unions, New Democrats Liao Tiancheng and the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong.
