At 9:26 am today (11th), at St. Joseph's English Middle School, 46 New Clear Water Bay Road, Kowloon, a male student aged over 10 in Form 2 fell from a height and fell into a coma. A staff member immediately called the police if he noticed it. .
Responding to the report, the paramedics arrived at the scene and rushed the male student to the United Hospital for emergency treatment, but he was certified dead after the rescue.
The police are investigating the case, and officers are investigating on the ground floor and floors of the school.
Professor Yip Siu-fai, Director of the Suicide Prevention Research Center of the University of Hong Kong, said in an interview with "Hong Kong 01" that the tragedy of students falling from a building may be related to the problem of adapting to class resumption.
