Six major thematic exhibitions take the lead, based on Hong Kong’s international perspective, and selected more than a thousand collections, presenting the source and innovation of visual culture from Hong Kong, China and Asia in the 20th and 21st centuries from multiple angles. The eye-catching exhibits include the well-known sculptor Anthony Gorm. Antony Gormley's vast sea of ​​more than 80,000 clay figures; there is also Shiro Kuramata's "Sushi Bar", which was airlifted from Tokyo to Hong Kong and purchased a huge amount of money.


The museum does not shy away from it, exhibiting works by Ai Weiwei, a dissident artist who has caused political controversy, such as his well-known ceramic pot installation "Whitewashing" and the video work "Chang'an Avenue".

Visitors can also see the artistic creations of the Kowloon emperor Zeng Zaozai Mobao, Yoko Ono and Andy Warhol.
