Police and Border Police forces are operating at this time (Thursday) near the String Bridge at the entrance to Jerusalem, following a protest taking place there demanding that the police officers who were involved about a year ago in the incident in which the late Ahuvia Godfather died.
Recently, attempts were made to disrupt order at the site and block the main entrance to the city.
A police officer called on protesters to stop blocking the axis and stop violating public order, before enforcing and using means to disperse disturbances.
Following the disturbances at the site, the entrance to the city from the Givat Shaul junction to the Herzl-Mahlaf Begin junction was blocked at this time, and police forces are working to direct the drivers to alternative roads.

The 19-year-old godfather belonged to the hill youth and was killed last year during a police chase, when the vehicle he was traveling in overturned on Route 449. Four of his friends were injured in the incident - two moderately and two lightly.
Godfather's family is demanding that the police be prosecuted, and now the decision is awaiting a decision by the Attorney General.
The police said that "the Israel Police will continue to allow freedom of protest within the borders of the law, but will not allow a violation of public order in violation of the law."
