Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez reiterated that the United States of America is working to destabilize his country, which will not allow the aggressive actions launched by Washington against the Cuban people to continue, indicating that this policy is doomed to failure.
Rodriguez said today in front of the diplomatic corps accredited in Havana: Since the 22nd of last September, 29 statements have been issued by the US government and influential figures in the US Congress with the aim of inciting acts of destabilization on the Caribbean island.
He pointed out that Washington is using a propaganda and media war against Cuba and is trying to build a hypothetical scenario out of unrealistic lies in the hope of turning it into a real scenario in the country.
Rodriguez revealed that the aggression planned from abroad is carried out using internal agents who have been recruited, financed and organized by the United States government and aims to harm the economic and social reopening of the country.
He noted the attempt by senior White House officials, US agencies and other government figures to portray Cuba as a failed state to intensify the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States on it.
