Berlin has never been closer: thanks to dramatic changes in German Basic Law, thousands of Israelis can now more easily obtain German citizenship than in the past.

Want German citizenship and one of the most powerful passports in the world?

All you have to do is prove that you lost or that your relative lost German citizenship between 1933-1945.

In addition, the new law also applies to those who were stateless in Germany in those years, due to antisemitic and racist reasons led by the Nazi regime.

Many Holocaust survivors left Germany after World War II.

However, due to distorted gender laws many women have suffered discrimination over the years and were not allowed to obtain citizenship, and so have their descendants.

Today, following the enacted reforms, they are also entitled, like men, to issue a passport together with their descendants.

Citizenship passes without limitation for generations

It should be noted that for the purpose of obtaining the passport there is no generation limit in German law, and citizenship can be bequeathed to the youngest generation (children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, fifties and so on).

This, even if the parent or original German contact did not become a citizen.

This is because German law is based on "blood law".

Therefore, there is no statute of limitations or restriction on the younger generation due to the biological connection.

Are there any conditions or restrictions on obtaining German citizenship?

No.

Unlike the old law that conditioned the acquisition of citizenship on a number of strict criteria, today citizenship applicants are not required to present a contemporary connection to Germany.

In fact, only a historical connection to a person living in the country in the indicated years must be proved.

In other words, the candidate is not required to know German, to live in Germany or to arrive there as part of the process, nor is he required to give up Israeli or other citizenship, to present an established economic ability and the like.

How long does it take to obtain German citizenship?

Once we have collected the required documents (a matter that usually takes up to two months), we have built an orderly request and have officially started the legal proceedings before the German authorities - the average time will range from one to two years.

Do not have documents?

There is no reason to despair

To prove your eligibility for German citizenship you will be required to present documents of the former husband or wife.

This also applies to those who have resided in Germany or to those who have petitioned for citizenship and been refused by the authorities.

For example, documents such as a birth certificate, identity card, old passport, marriage certificate, divorce certificate, exile certificate, etc. will be excellent proof of a German connection.

I do not have documents from Germany.

What to do?

First of all, do not despair and know that there are several options.

Due to the tragic circumstances due to which the Jews of Germany were forced to leave the country, in many cases they could not take the mentioned documents or naturally did not survive.

In such cases, which are quite common, one should try to locate the documents in the German archives currently operating through a qualified root researcher.

The documents can usually be found, thanks to the effective German method of preservation over the generations.

In the past we have located many documents, and helped many clients become citizens.

The procedure for obtaining citizenship for children is simpler

If a parent already holds citizenship - the process for a child born after citizenship will be official only.

You must register the child at the embassy while presenting the parent's citizenship certificate and the child's birth certificate.

The birth will be officially registered in the population register in Germany and by doing so the child will be able to become a citizen.

When it comes to the minor children and adults of a citizen - the procedure for presenting the relationship between them and the parent will be simpler because the latter has already become a citizen.

However they will have to go through the process in the same way.

What is the cost of the process?

The price varies depending on the evidence presented by the client and certainly for the work required in cases where root research is required.

For this reason a concentrated request from several family members may significantly lower the costs for the whole family.

From unlimited studies to exemption from US visa

The German passport has many advantages.

We will start with the fact that the German state is a full member of the European Union, which provides its citizens with unique benefits such as residence, employment and studies in all EU countries without restriction.

In addition, those who hold a German passport are exempt from issuing visas to the United States and Australia.

In addition, he can get a one-year work permit in these countries and many more like Canada, Japan and more.

The German passport is considered the most prestigious among European countries.

This is due to the fact that its holders are allowed to enter more than 190 countries around the world.

If you have chosen to live in the country you will enjoy living allowances, pension provisions, improved social services, student benefits, advanced medical services and convenient taxation for entrepreneurs.

Does the new law really create a new reality when it comes to obtaining a German passport?

Definitely.

The new law creates a unique opportunity to acquire or restore world-renowned European citizenship for the descendants of those present in Germany during the reign of terror of the Third Reich.

In the list of the most global and profitable passports, the German passport is in the third and most honorable position, which proves that investing in it is smart and can shape your present and the future of your children.
