The total number of public housing applications reached 254,000
As of the end of September 2021, the average waiting time for general public housing applicants is 5.9 years. Among them, the average waiting time for one-person applicants is 3.8 years.
According to the Housing Authority, there are currently about 153,000 applications for general public housing and about 100,000 applications for non-elderly persons under the quota and points system, that is, a total of 254,000 applications.
