Salinas' charisma also took her to Hollywood, where she participated in the films "Man on Fire" and "The Same Moon."
Salinas was twice awarded the Diosa de Plata award in the category of best actress in a painting for her role as "Doña Carmen" in "La misma luna" and for her role as "Vieja Zamora" in "Letters to Elena."
