In the fourth episode of the British series
The Outlaws
, broadcast Wednesday on the BBC iPlayer platform, the character played by Christopher Walken repaints a wall.
So far, nothing crazy.
Only this wall is decorated with one of the famous rats painted by the street artist Banksy.

In detail, Frank, the character played by Christopher Walken, discovers this rat at the bottom of a city wall that he has to repaint and Banksy's signature basically right next to it. He asks Diane, the probation officer played by Jessica Gunning, if he can spare the rat and leave the wall as it is, to which she replies, "
Less arguing, more painting."
Frank does so, and destroys the painting.

Banksys are popular
Banksy's identity is still unknown, but his aura and notoriety extends far beyond English borders.
Many observers suspect Banksy to be from Bristol, with his early works appearing mostly in the city.
Since his first drawings in the 90s, he has dressed the walls of cities all over the world, and his work has taken on a value beyond reason.
A month ago, one of his best-known works was auctioned for nearly 22 million euros.
