The White House announced today that US President Joe Biden and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping will hold a virtual meeting next Monday.
"The US and Chinese presidents will discuss ways to responsibly manage competition between the two countries," White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said in a statement today.
Earlier in the day, China called on the United States to adopt a logical and practical policy towards it, stressing that competition between the two sides should take into account the basic rules governing international relations.
