The son-in-law of Monegasque billionaire Hélène Pastor, Wojciech Janowski, was sentenced on Friday 12 November on appeal to life imprisonment for having ordered the assassination of his mother-in-law and his Egyptian butler in 2014 in Nice.

The Bouches-du-Rhône Assize Court of Appeal confirmed the sentence of first instance against the former honorary consul of Poland in Monaco but did not pronounce the security sentence requested by the Advocate General .
