The Israeli couple who were arrested in Turkey during the week are expected to be deported back to Israel today (Friday).
The couple, Natalie and the Oknin rebels, residents of Modi'in, have been arrested for allegedly photographing the palace of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and will be brought before a judge in Turkey today.
The two traveled to the country for a private vacation, but then were arrested during a cruise they held in Istanbul with family members.
The arrest of the two became known after a tour guide who was with the couple updated the family, who did not receive any official information.
With the update on the arrest, contact the State Department.
Advocate Nir Jaslowitz, the two's attorneys, estimated that a person who was with the two on a cruise reported the photo to the authorities - which led to their arrest.

The couple's family in Israel hired lawyer Yaslovitch, who called on Foreign Minister Yair Lapid to release the detained couple, he said, without any justifiable reason.
The lawyer asked Lapid to do everything in his power, including contacting the Turkish Foreign Minister directly and immediately.
A source in Turkey said the president was unaware of the couple's arrest, and that they were taken for questioning immediately afterwards.
