Tartous-Sana
This evening, the members of the fire brigade in Tartous governorate put out a fire in agricultural lands in the Wadi Al-Sharq area of the town of Al-Suda, and the damage was limited to material.
Colonel Samir Shamma, commander of the Tartous Fire Brigade, told SANA reporter that the fire destroyed about 100 dunums of lands planted with olive trees in the north of Sheikh Badr Road.
Shamma pointed out that the regiment's members put out 16 grass fires in agricultural lands in different areas of the governorate today, including in the villages of Malakah, Bassa, Haba, Shmemis, Beit Al-Taraq, Beit Shuhar, Al-Rihaniyah, Al-Kashfa, Al-Inshaat neighborhood, Sheikh Saad, Al-Zarqat and Tal Termos.
