The dry northeast monsoon will continue to bring generally sunny weather to southern China today and tomorrow, with a large temperature difference between day and night in this area.
The Observatory predicts that the local area will be partly cloudy in the morning and evening today. The lowest temperature in the urban area is about 19 degrees, and the New Territories is two or three degrees lower. It is generally fine and very dry during the day, and the maximum temperature is about 25 degrees.

The Observatory stated that the northeast monsoon will ease early next week, and the Guangdong area will be warm during the day. It is expected that a supplementary north monsoon will reach the coast of Guangdong in the middle of next week.

The Transport Department stated that due to emergency repairs, the middle and slow lines of Ferry Street (towards Tsim Sha Tsui) near the Yau Ma Tei Police Station are now closed. Motorists can only use the remaining down lanes.
In addition, some traffic lanes on Gansu Street westbound near the former Yau Ma Tei Police Station have also been closed. Motorists can only turn left to Ferry Street southbound towards Tsim Sha Tsui, and the affected bus routes must be diverted.
The Transport Department reminds the public that, due to the landslide of Peak Road earlier, the section of Peak Road between Barker Road and Magixian Gap Road still implements one-lane two-way traffic.
Heavy vehicles cannot travel on the above road sections.
