A fight broke out in Yau Ma Tei.
At about 11 pm yesterday (13th), it was reported that a number of people were fighting in the Indian Club at No. 24 Gascoigne Road. Some of them were armed with wooden sticks, while others fired back with a water glass and beat them from inside the club to the outside.
Police officers arrived with a shield and a police dog. After investigation, they arrested 5 men involved in the case for "fighting in a public place", including 3 injured. They were injured in their heads and feet and were sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. .
It is understood that the arrested men are between 24 and 75 years old, all of Indian descent, and members of the same family.
At the time of the incident, everyone was holding a birthday party at the site. During the incident, some people fell out due to money issues. At first they quarreled and then used force. Among them, three men aged 24, 31 and 75 were injured in the face and foot.
The Criminal Investigation Team of Yau Tsim Police District has taken over the case.
