About a thousand party members will vote for the first conference, which will be held on January 4.
Ahead of the conference, Bish Atid published part of the new party bylaws.
According to the document, the party's overarching goals are "building and strengthening the Zionist-Liberal Center as a key tool for preserving the State of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state."
According to additional clauses, there is a future that will act "to protect the system of balances and brakes necessary for the existence of the nation state, to give equal civil rights to every resident of the country and to stand up to any extremism";
And "to preserve the Jewish identity of Israel, and to resist any coercion. To be a spiritual center for world Jewry. To strive for peace with our neighbors, and especially for peace within us between all the tribes, ethnicities, currents and religions that make up Israeli society."
In addition, the bylaws state that Bish Atid will strive to "strengthen the rule of law in Israel and fight against any phenomenon of governmental corruption and against any threat to the Israeli legal system."
According to the bylaws, every party member must identify and act for the goals of Yesh Atid.
Also, membership in the party will not be allowed to those who have been convicted in a verdict of an offense with which there is disgrace.
The conference, according to the bylaws, "will include up to 30% of the party's founders to be determined by the party management, party management and five honorary members elected by the party chairman with the approval of the party management based on their public status and / or contribution to the party."
The Yesh Atid announcement stated that "the committee for selecting the list for the Knesset will have faith in the selection of party members nominated on its behalf in the list of candidates for the Knesset elections, as well as their order in the list.
The party chairman will have the right to include in the list of Knesset candidates on behalf of the party candidates who were not selected by the Knesset list selection committee ('armor'), provided that the number of armor does not exceed 2 in every ten candidates, and a total of 6 to 30th place.
For the avoidance of doubt, the chairman of the party will be able to reserve as a candidate even those who are not members of the party. "
