Thousands of Swiss demonstrated in Geneva against the restrictive measures taken by the federal government to contain the Corona virus.
Today, Agence France-Presse quoted Geneva police as saying that about 2,500 demonstrators marched in the city's streets to the United Nations headquarters, denouncing compulsory vaccination, mass surveillance and discrimination resulting from the restrictions imposed since the beginning of the epidemic in Switzerland.
The demonstrators called for a “no” vote in the referendum that will be organized on the twenty-eighth of this month on the Covid 19 law, which allows, in particular, to provide the necessary legal basis for creating a “Covid certificate” for people who have been vaccinated or recovered from the virus and expand the possibilities of tracing contacts to break chains of infection.
So far, Switzerland has recorded 909,034 cases of the virus and 11,339 related deaths.
