Two sisters from Ashkelon Gila and Denise, who took a short vacation from family and work, said they were not afraid and if they were they would not travel.

Yossi Tzarfati, a tour guide, said that following the incident, about half of the trips were canceled.

Family members from Eilat who flew to Turkey also said that there was little concern, but promised to take out a little less of the camera and focus more on food and shopping.
"Friends and family told me to be careful," Nir said. "This is not our first time here.
"Overall they are fine, I do not know what this matter is whether it is political or not, but we came for a vacation to enjoy Istanbul and that's all," he added.
