Today, firefighting cadres in Homs, Sweida and Jableh countryside put out a number of fires, the largest of which broke out in the lands of the towns of Ammar Al-Hosn and Zweitina in the western countryside of Homs.

Captain Iyad Muhammad, commander of the Jableh firefighting unit, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the fire spread over an area of 50 dunums of citrus trees, and two fire engines were kept at the site for monitoring and cooling.
