"rape and sexual assault"

The case began in 2016 with a report from the National Education sent to the prosecution,
"reporting revelations of sexual assault on young C., aged 16"
, according to statements from the prosecution to the era.
According to a source familiar with the matter, the prosecution finally requested in this case, last July, the referral of Franck Lavier to the criminal court for acts of sexual assault, committed between September 2015 and May 2016.

Franck Lavier, for his part, has always contested any aggression against his daughter.
Now 43 years old, Franck Lavier was with his wife Sandrine one of the accused in Outreau.
He was acquitted by the Paris Court of Appeal in 2005, after being sentenced in 2004 to six years in prison for the rape of his stepdaughter and sexual assault on four children, by the Assize Court of Saint -Omer (Pas-de-Calais).
