Galein Maxwell, the partner of sex offender Epstein, has complained about the conditions of her incarceration Israel today

In an interview ahead of her trial, the so-called "Madame" claimed she was being held in inhumane conditions at a facility in Brooklyn where she was detained.

Galein Maxwell, the former partner of millionaire and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, claims she was forced to stop showering while awaiting trial on charges of trafficking in minors for sex - because of "creepy" guards who stayed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

Epstein's alleged Madame further noted that the conditions in which she is being held are unhygienic on an officer and inhuman level and that "her frequent and furry partners in detention are the rats."

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Maxwell claimed that the conditions at the Brooklyn prison where she has been held since her arrest in July 2020 were so bad that she would not once sit next to a rat while using the toilet: "I used to go to the bathroom with an open sewer regularly".

In addition, she claimed sexual harassment by the guards at the detention facility: "I used to take a shower every day, but I stopped because of the creepy guards who stand close and look at me all the time."

Maxwell faces six charges, including seduction of minors, child sex trafficking and perjury.

From 1994 to 2004, she allegedly "assisted, facilitated and contributed" to Epstein's abuse of 14-year-old children, including pimping minors into wealthy and powerful men.

She denies all charges against her and is expected to get up to 80 years behind bars if convicted on a trial that begins next week.

Virginia Joffrey, who accuses Maxwell of trafficking her three times to Prince Andrew, including when she was a minor, is expected to testify at trial.

At least four women are expected to testify against Maxwell, one of them British.

All but one will be protected by the judge and no oil will be revealed, but they will testify before the court and the press.

The witness who gave up her right to anonymity is the American psychologist Annie Farmer, who claimed that Maxwell and Epstein sexually abused her when she was 16 while she was on his estate in New Mexico in 1996.

Epstein himself put an end to his life in August 2019, while in custody at a detention facility.

According to sources in the prison, Epstein was alone in his cell at the time of the act, after the prisoner with whom he shared the cell was transferred for an unknown reason earlier.

He committed suicide while a Manhattan court revealed thousands of documents linking him to trafficking in minors and women and numerous sexual offenses.
