Amman, SANA- The Jordanian Ministry of Health announced its intention to start giving the third dose of the anti-Coronavirus vaccine

The Jordanian Ministry of Health announced its intention to start giving the third dose of the anti-Coronavirus vaccine to those 6 months after receiving the second dose for the target group of 18 years and over.

The Jordanian Petra News Agency quoted the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health for Epidemiological Affairs, Dr. Adel Al-Balbisi, stressing today the importance of receiving the third dose of the Corona vaccine, as immunity decreases six months after receiving the second dose, stressing the effectiveness of the third dose by raising immunity for all age groups.

The Jordanian Ministry of Health had announced earlier that the total number of deaths from the virus in Jordan had risen to 11,215, and infections to 889,671 cases.
