An unusual proclamation by the prince couple, which is guaranteed to go down in the history of the Bruck home guild, took place on Thursday evening in the event forum.
Fürstenfeldbruck - Due to the exploding corona numbers, the home guild moved its proclamation event from the column hall to the city hall courtyard at short notice.
"We just want to minimize any incalculable risk of infection," Gildemeister Daniel Brando justified the spontaneous relocation of the proclamation to the open.
At temperatures around freezing point, it only took place in a “slimmed-down” form.
After a good half an hour, the performance of the city's official prince couple, framed by a small show by the dance groups, was over again.
Nevertheless, almost 100 visitors came to what Brando called him, "short, crisp appearance" and cheered the official prince couple of the city.
After the greeting by Gildemeister Brando and his deputy Susanne Droth, the "fresh" madmen got out of a green limousine and presented themselves to the audience.
This time the proclamation was placed at the beginning of the event so that the prince couple did not get cold.
“I am delighted to be able to represent the city as Prince Carsten I this year,” said 28-year-old Carsten Bernhard Mück from Esting.
His hobbies include dancing, which he has been doing for ten years.
He has been with the home guild for two years.
Mück, who works as a system engineer, is looking forward to many exciting events with like-minded dance enthusiasts.
He thanked everyone who has supported him so far, "especially my parents, even if they have not known about my happiness until today."
Looking forward to the great fun
Mück thanked his Princess Franzi I for the exciting weeks "that are behind us and, hopefully, many more eventful weeks that lie ahead of us." Franziska Sophie Zapf, a real Bruck child, is one of the founding members of the "Minis" dance group .
"I started with the" Minis "16 years ago and danced my way through all the groups," says the 22-year-old student for elementary school teaching.
Her second passion is playing the trumpet in the Stadtkapelle Bruck, where she has been with them for ten years.
"I'm looking forward to getting to know a lot of nice people and having a lot of fun during that time," she says about the upcoming carnival season.
The five show dance groups, who each showed their skills in a two-minute performance, received great enthusiasm and a lot of applause.
They have all rehearsed their dances for weeks and now hope that not everything was in vain again, as in the previous year, but that they can also reap the recognition and the “reward” at many performances in “their fifth season”.
"Dachau has already completely canceled Carnival," reported Gildemeister Brando.
“But that's not our credo.
We will definitely continue to plan, but of course we will wait for the development. ”So far, the New Year's Eve ball is planned, as well as the Super Guard meeting on February 26th and the children's festival on February 27th.
