Suspicion of murder in Be'er Sheva:

Tonight (Saturday) it was announced that Roni Shomov is the suspect in the act.

The Magistrate's Court in Be'er Sheva this evening extended his detention by six days.

The young woman, 18, from Netanya, was found lifeless in Shomov's house this morning.

Her body was taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, and 25-year-old Shumov, who was released just a month ago from prison, was arrested.

"Last Thursday my sister wanted to go to him (to the suspicious spouse, 14) to Be'er Sheva and my mother locked her in the house," recalled the sister of the young woman from Netanya who was found lifeless in the morning. "He sat for six months because of violence against her.

He was released only a month ago. "

According to her, in order to leave the house, her sister called the police to the family home in Netanya.

"The officer said she's over 18 and can go wherever she wants," the nurse says.

"She went to him in Be'er Sheva and it ended in murder. The policeman could have prevented this murder. We knew it would end badly. We tried to do everything. My mother locked her in the house. It did not help."

Police said they were sharing in the family's grief.

"The deceased called the police station on November 9, 2021 at 18:45, claimed that she was 18 and her parents refused to let her leave the house," the Israel Police said.

"A policeman who came to the family home met the deceased, her mother and sister. The deceased told the policeman that she was interested in going home to Be'er Sheva for her friend, and her mother prevented her from leaving the house. "The policeman and the family went to sleep - and she responded and stayed at home. The policeman left the place only after he made sure that the deceased agreed to stay at home to rest and after her mother locked the door."
