Dr. Rafael Valdez, Latin America medical director for Pfizer's Hospital Products Unit, spoke with CNN about the most recent studies of his Paxlovid pill against covid-19.
According to Valdez, an independent study has shown that the drug helps almost 90% to avoid death or hospitalization from the new coronavirus.
