A Polish soldier was killed today by an accidental shooting using Polish weapons on the border with Belarus.
Reuters quoted a spokesman for Poland's security services as saying today that a Polish soldier "was killed after an accidental shooting using Polish weapons on the Belarus border," adding that "the initial investigation did not show any third party involved in the accidental shooting."
It is noteworthy that thousands of migrants are stuck in freezing weather on the borders between Belarus and the countries of Poland and Lithuania, which refuse entry to their territories in order to cross into the European Union.
