Actually, this 40th anniversary should have taken place in 2020, as Elke Fluk founded the singing group in 1980.
Due to the corona, the evening music in November had to be canceled last year.
The traditional day of evening music on the Day of Repentance and Prayer, November 17th, was chosen as the date.
It starts at 7 p.m. in the Korneliuskirche in Karlsfeld. Admission is free. The hygiene rules valid on November 17th apply to this event. While there were still a good 30 singers at the beginning of the 80s, the Singkreis is doing like many other choirs and music groups: the number of participants has decreased considerably. The choir currently consists of twelve people. Some of the choir members have been singing along for over 30 years. Both ecclesiastical and secular pieces will be performed under the direction of Monika Frühwacht. Pastor Roman Breitwieser will speak spiritual words that fit this Protestant holiday. When entering the church, an FFP2 mask must be worn; this can be removed from the seat, provided that there is a minimum distance of 1.5 meters to people who do not belong to your own household,is adhered to. In order to facilitate the control at the entrance, we ask you to only use the entrance at the church tower.
