Tartous Governorate, in cooperation with the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim, opened the Tartous (Syrian-Russian Peace Initiative) office, with the aim of providing various humanitarian and social services to the families of the martyrs and the wounded in the province.

For his part, Firas Saad El-Din, representative of the initiative in Tartous, pointed out in a similar statement that the office provides various humanitarian and social assistance, pointing to the establishment of medical and educational centers in the next phase to provide the best services in various fields.
The Director of the Initiative's Office in Tartous, Zain Hammoud, indicated that the services that will be provided are comprehensive, including health, cultural, recreational and other aspects.
In turn, the director of public services in the governorate, Jihad Qamira, explained that the initiative came as a continuation of the various services and community activities for the people of the governorate, especially the families of the martyrs and the wounded.
