St. Wolfgang

- The St. Wolfgang carnival friends do not want to give up again this year without a fight. They counter the corona pandemic with carnival fun, as far as possible. Because the carnival department at TSV St. Wolfgang is responsible for the fooling around the Goldach, on 11.11. Chairman Rudi Müller-Brunnhuber ushered in the foolish times of 2021/22 with the proclamation of the prince couples and announced a special feature.

Not only has it been possible to find a child prince couple, the two young highnesses know each other very well - they are twins. Princess Mariella I of the twin castle on Bennoberg and Prince Loris I of the Pemmeringer Kutschenmacherei are her titles. The eleven-year-old siblings Mariella and Loris Perzl come from Armstorf and go to Isen Middle School. Mariella plays the piano, dances ballet and loves to paint. Brother Loris is also musical and plays cornet, rides a lot of bikes and plays computer games.

In 2020, due to the pandemic, only one online prince couple could be presented, which was also a novelty in the 73-year history of the prince couple. And this year the search for a couple of princes "again took almost the last second," revealed Müller-Brunnhuber. In 2021/2022 he introduced Princess Nadine I, king's daughter from Stiersee, and Prince Manuel I, bush pilot from the “hoizern” moated castle, as the prince couple in 2021/2022. Nadine Stiersdorfer from Großschwindau is 18 years old and a designer for visual marketing. Manuel Grundner is from St. Wolfgang, 20 years old and a carpenter. He plays soccer and is an enthusiastic hobby pilot at the flying club in Wasentegernbach.

There will also be a Prinzengarde who will rehearse their choreographies in the TSV dance sports department under the direction of Theresa Herzog.

The guards practice in Juliane Zdera's St. Wolfgang ballet school.

They then want to present their dances on January 29th as part of a small guard festival.

There will be carnival events like the colorful evening, but under the corresponding corona conditions.

"We are always careful with this," the club chairman promised.

"Even if there is probably less going on, you can enjoy your time as a prince couple," recommended Mayor Ullrich Gaigl.

Despite the current "difficult time", he was optimistic and said: "A bit ebbs will be possible."
