Haimhausen - Peter Felbermeier is upset.
The mayor of Haimhausen had to cancel the traditional Christmas market at the castle last Thursday - Corona.
But that is not the main reason why Felbermeier is upset.
The municipality had to make the decision about the cancellation independently, as the big politics in the Bavarian state parliament still allows Christmas markets.
"I find it regrettable that our Prime Minister has stood up and declared that the markets can take place," said Felbermeier (CSU), criticizing his party leader.
"I find that irresponsible."
Simply passing on the responsibility to the municipalities and the clubs pissed him off.
Felbermeier: "But if the big politicians don't manage that, then we are happy to take responsibility."

Mayor Felbermeier also emphasizes how dramatic the coronary situation is now in the Dachau district, and the number of infections is extremely dynamic.
“That was the decisive reason,” explains Felbermeier.
He reminds of the situation in the hospitals - because triage could soon threaten the Dachau clinic (we reported).
Even if this was largely publicized on Friday, Peter Felbermeier sees his decision strengthened.
"So there could have been no other result than postponing." On the previous Monday, he admits that he would have said: "We'll go through with it."
The Haimhausen cultural area, as the organizer, is of course sad about the cancellation, but "everyone understands that with these incidence values," says press spokeswoman Christiane Kettinger.
"There is nothing else you can do."
The association put a lot of work and time into the preparations.
“They lasted for a couple of weeks,” says Kettinger.
Everything would have been planned so far that the market could have taken place.
