"A group of six or seven boys behind us started shouting in our direction: 'This is not Tel Aviv!', 'Go to Gaza and be a lesbian there!'

We ignored and kept going, I thought it would end there as usual, "Eliasch wrote in a post she published.

"A minute later, we were already in this aisle next to the train station, someone bumped into us from behind loudly and made the coffee spill on us. It was one of the boys, all laughing and kicking. I told him 'what the hell', we accelerated steps. They all hurried after us. "The one who was with me in the crotch. Another started yelling and sighing. He shouted not to be touched. They threw small stones at us and started pushing and touching us randomly, just to show that they could."

She also said that when one of the young men under attack asked them to leave, the boys threw him to the floor, and at this point soldiers who were at the scene intervened and kept the attackers away.

The Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance filed a complaint with the police following the incident, and the police opened an investigation.

In addition, the director general of the Open House, Alon Shachar, stated that "unfortunately, there is still gender-based violence and LGBT people in Jerusalem. We take the case seriously and expect the police to handle the incident severely and reach out to the attackers."
