After driving about 40 kilometers, when the private car drove to the Nan Fung Industrial City on Yip Wang Road, Tuen Mun, it accidentally crashed into the car gate of the parking lot on the site.

When there was no way to go and there were chasing soldiers behind, the driver and three passengers in the car immediately abandoned the car and fled, but were eventually subdued by the police officers who followed.

After preliminary investigation by the police, it was discovered that three of the four men and women were still underage. Among them, the driver named Zhang was only 16 years old, and the three passengers were two 17-year-old men and women and one 20-year-old woman.

The investigation believes that 4 people were arrested for driving away the involved private car without authorization in Sham Shui Po earlier.

The 16-year-old male driver was also arrested for driving without a license, driving without third-party insurance, failing to stop after the accident, failing to report after the accident, and driving dangerously.

The case was handed over to the Criminal Investigation Team of Tuen Mun Police District for follow-up.

Four people are currently being detained for investigation.
