Police this morning (Sunday) arrested a 47-year-old Harish resident on suspicion of abusing his dog.
The investigation began with the receipt of a video posted on social media in which the suspect was seen hitting his dog with a shoe.
At the end of the investigation, it will be decided whether to extend the suspect's detention.
The dog is transferred to the responsibility of the regional veterinarian.
