The investigation into the suspicion of the murder of the 18-year-old in Be'er Sheva continues, and the story behind her death is beginning to become clear.

The religious family where she grew up criticized the police for handling previous complaints about the suspect, who was released from prison only about a month ago, but refuse to give details about the young woman who changed her lifestyle from end to end.

The 18-year-old moved in with the suspect, 25-year-old Roni Shumov, in the D neighborhood in Be'er Sheva six months ago, after a relationship that lasted six months.

According to neighbors in the building, the violence was present from the first moment.

"Two weeks ago we heard screams from the house, we heard loud beatings. According to what we heard she left the apartment and only last week she came back," said one of the neighbors.

Her family said that on Thursday afternoon the young woman asked to travel from her home to Be'er Sheva, while her mother forbade her to leave the house because she knew she wanted to go to her partner's apartment.

The young woman called the police on the grounds that the mother had imprisoned her in her home, while the police told the mother that the girl had grown up and had the right to do as she pleased.

The young family in Netanya says that the two met through mutual friends.

"We tried to prevent the connection," a relative said.

"We did everything. Her friend called him and told him to leave her. He did not release her, he drove her crazy. He was violent. We knew it would end badly. We tried to do everything."

According to her, the young woman had hope that things would change for the better.

"She understood but thought it would be okay, that it would change, that it would be okay. She loved him. She wanted to get married and have children. It was her dream."

In the Southern District of Police there are two cases against the murder suspect.

One is for assault against the spouse who was found lifeless in his home, and the other is a violation of a restraining order from the spouse, which was issued after a complaint was filed with the police by a third party.
