Gal Gadot, $ 20 million is great, but what about playing ability? | Israel today

It's always nice to see the Israeli star do it big, and so does the movie "Red Message" on Netflix, but to be honest, her range of acting abilities comes down to "a model who is happy with herself"

I have a red message for you, either blue or beige: Do not go see this movie.

And when I talk about walking then also the few meters of walking to the couch, since this masterpiece is broadcast on Netflix in your living room.

"Red Post" is an action comedy about an international cross-continental pursuit (with illogical scenes) of artwork in the form of three decorated eggs given as a gift to Cleopatra.

This is definitely a fun movie if these days you are fighting an euthanasia attack or you have passed the age of 12 and you are following with justifiable envy the lucrative career of Gal Gadot.

Since the level of acting and interesting plot are not some of the things Netflix received for the highest amount it paid for a movie ($ 200 million), let's focus on who we came together for - Gal Gadot.

This time, too, our Wonder Woman is stinging Hollywood with a whopping $ 20 million salary, which is inversely related to its acting capabilities.

Not to be misunderstood, for moments in the film Gal Gadot is strong on screen and we like to see her win, but an important actress is not yet - Gadot still provides us with a wide range of two game energies in each film, and depth of characters of a tiny pool.

In fact, in every scene she can be broadly defined as a "self-satisfied model," and this is true throughout the continuum of her career from Wonder Woman to Hot commercials.

For a film that does not take itself too seriously in the first place it is probably enough, but not sure how many careers can be made from that rather limited style of acting overall, and I include in this thesis also Dwayne Johnson (The Rock).

And now for the movie itself: how sad that the highest budget for a movie in Netflix history goes to a childish, sweaty action comedy, with a ridiculous plot line that gives it an action movie atmosphere from a Disney creator, and not something that adults should really sit back and enjoy.

Aside from a pretty cool opening scene, the rest of the film puts the protagonist, an FBI cop with a profiling specialization and a super-thief with a specialization in repression, into complicated situations that often end in unreliable escapes of both, with the viewer at home saying "oh really."

This is one of the movies with the highest ratio of "come on" moments you've ever seen.

The absurd moments cause the film to lose in the unreliability index.

Oh, and as if to give emotional depth to the film, there is also an uninteresting mental journey that the protagonists go through, who just a moment ago hated each other or laughed at Johnson.

And yet $ 200 million, some say more, bring some fun moments, but they add up to Ryan Reynolds' small, self-conscious bites.

In fact, you're left to watch the scribbled plot just to get to another punch of his.

And there are quite a few.
