(ANSA) - NEW YORK, NOVEMBER 12 - Elon Musk is the richest man in the world, and also a 'green scrooge': corrected for inflation, his fortune - accumulated with Tesla's electric car respecting the environment - it is equal to that of John Rockefeller, who became a billionaire thanks to fossil fuels that are enemies of the climate. Musk is at the head of Bloomberg's ranking of 15 'billion green' in the world: all together they are worth 500 billion dollars and are mostly Chinese.
Of Musk's $ 288 billion, 86% is tied directly to its green initiatives, namely autoelectric and solar power.
In second place, far from Musk, are Zeng Yuqun, Huang Shilin and Li Ping of China's CATL, the world's largest producer of electric batteries.
In third place are Wang Chuanfu, Lv Xiangyang and XiaZuoquan of BYD, the Chinese carmaker in which WarrenBuffet has a stake.
They are also 'Made in China' from fourth to ninth place, while Leo KoGuan, Tesla's third largest individual investor, completes the top ten.
