Hackers infiltrated the external email system of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
And the US Bloomberg Agency reported that the hackers succeeded yesterday in sending tens of thousands of emails from an email account belonging to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where they warned in their messages of a possible cyber attack.
The FBI indicated that it was aware of the incident, which involved fake emails sent from an FBI email account.
Austin Berglas, head of professional services at the cybersecurity firm, explained that the (FBI) has multiple e-mail systems, and it appears that the system that has been hacked is a public-oriented system that agents and employees can use to send e-mail to the general public.
