iPhone
Message to Apple: Your customers want, demand, crave USB ports on their iPhones.
Fact: An iPhone X that has been modified and its Lightning input replaced with a perfectly normal USB-C input, sold on eBay for an astronomical $ 86,000 (including free shipping, at least).
The unique iPhone was independently engineered by a robotics student named Ken Philonel, who has documented the project in recent months.

Despite the impressive exit, Philonel has announced that he intends to further improve the cellular hybridization for which he is responsible, such as making the device waterproof and improving its fast charging.
Since his work was done in open source (i.e., the public can see what exactly he did and how), it is not inconceivable that more amateurs will take up the gauntlet and also try to improve the performance of the world's first USB model.
Or, alternatively, that Apple will just come down from the tree ...
Confidential voting
In an attempt to combat harassment and cyberbullying, YouTube has decided to hide the numbers of dislikes the videos receive on its site and app.
Yes, you can still put your thumb down on content you do not like, and your votes will continue to influence the viewing recommendations you receive from YouTube in the future.
But very soon the amount of dislikes of the videos will be revealed only to the uploader of the video, and not to the whole world.
In doing so, in effect, the dislikes will serve as a tool of excellence, which will receive feedback if its content has hit the audience's taste, and will cease to be a trolling tool for enthusiastic masses.

The new beta version of iOS, the operating system for Apple products, blocks images of a "sexual nature" in the accounts of minors who use the Chat Messages app.
If and when the child receives on his phone an image that will be defined by the algorithm as suspicious, it will be blocked automatically and a warning will be displayed on the screen.
It should be noted that the operating system does not delete the image, and the child will still be able to ignore the warning and look at it if he wishes.
Also, contrary to Apple's early announcement from August, parents will ultimately
not
be notified that their child has chosen to open the problematic image.
It is likely that Apple has decided to give up this option due to the criticism it has received: experts have argued that it may take out of the closet minors who do not want it, and violent parents may even vent their anger on their children if they find they are consuming inappropriate content.
Do not try it on the street
Anyone really need an electric scooter that can reach speeds of 100 km / h? Italian racing technology company YCOM believes so, provided the tools are used exclusively for sporting purposes. The company recently introduced its new S1-X scooter, which can reach the same incredible speed Captured and boasts a 35 kg carbon fiber chassis. This model will also serve as the official tool of the eSkootr Championship, an electric scooter racing tournament that is expected to take place for the first time next year.
"This is first and foremost a race car - something completely different - and we feel we have invented a new sport here," said Nicola Simcha, founder of YCOM.
But if you're already plotting to get your own shiny new S1-X, keep in mind that insane speed is also a disadvantage - not just related to safety.
According to the manufacturer, one charge of the pavement may be sufficient for only three or four ends, with each end lasting about four to five minutes.
So if the idea is to get to work fast and in style (and inhaling even in one piece), forget about it, and leave the S1-X for the racetrack only.
