The basic idea of "wedding" is to neutralize the illusion of abundance and give a real chance to connect with the other side.
The problem arises when the matches are intended for the purpose of ratings and dramas, and not for the purpose of creating a true relationship.
Before Mano and Nitzan travel to their last weekend on the show, they begin to sum up. - They were quite successful.

But this idea, neutralizing the same phenomenon of "abundance illusion", filtering out background noises, forcing them to dedicate themselves to the process and give a real chance to a relationship - can only work when there is a real match between the parties.
In the case of Mano and Nitzan there certainly is, and the fact that they met on Tinder even earlier proved it.

The production tries to show us that the format works, when we allegedly saw in the promo that Hadas and Shai had a makeover and a relationship was formed.
The idea behind the promo is to prove that whoever gives a real chance at neutralizing background noise eventually manages to create a relationship, which is actually the declared flag of the show.
Since we learned that the connection between the promos and the full episodes is only imaginary, so too yesterday we saw that Hadas and Shai do not really have a relationship, but idle attempts that will not lead to anything, even if Shai imagines that something substantial is happening there.
It would be better for them to have already retired in the middle of the season instead of all these pathetic attempts.
Hence, the format cannot succeed if there is no match.
Even when giving the most real chance there is, it is not enough.
If there is no initial pull or adjustment, it just does not work.
No matter how much Shai and Hadas try, how much they will tell us that here they are forming a relationship and there is a change - it just will not happen.
No matter how stunning and charming Shani is and how much she will try, if it does not work for Danny, it will not happen.
No matter how much Karin wants or how much Itamar explains to herself that she is stunning and charming, and even that there is an attraction between them - if two people do not fit it just does not happen.
If there is no match - there is nothing to do.

Therefore the adjustments that the experts make are critical to the success of the format.
Had the experts thought a little less about ratings and potential dramas, and been a little more loyal to the profession they represent - they would probably have made more adjustments.
In such a case it is likely that the program would have been perceived as more credible and there were more candidates interested in participating.
